Hello, I was just wondering if you guys have ever fed something like this:

Amazon.com: Cadet Sterile Natural Bone for Dogs, 8 to 9-Inch, White: Pet Supplies

It's listed as a 'natural sterile' bone. I'm not really sure if it's one of those bones that has been heated so it can splinter or if it is safe to give to a young puppy while supervised. Any input?
