Default WD's sense of order

All our dogs sleep in their crates at night. This morning I smelled the smell of vomit in one of the old dogs' crates. I let them out and closed all crates so I could clean that up later (after morning coffee).
WD did not agree. As I sat down for coffee I heard him bark the you-need-to-help-me bark. So I got up and I saw him standing in front of the soiled crate, basically telling me to take care of it by pointing his nose at it. So I did; carried the crate outside, WD following me to watch, cleaned it out and he was content. Nobody, except for WD, would ever be able to lure me away from coffee to clean out a dirty crate. Can't believe I have a dog telling me when to clean.
So this is how much power GSDs have over us?
