Correct mix of Food ?
Hey everyone ... I havent been on here in a while.. My WGSD will be 16 months next week. I have a question about his food. I asked everyone on here what I should feed him when I was lucky enough to get him.... the majority said Innova.. so I have been feeding him Innova large breed puppy... I cook out alot so when I have extra smoked turkey or ribs I give it to him. He is 85 lbs. but he was very very lean... I started to mix ground chuck hamburger with his food to change it up a little cause he seemed not that interested in his dry food ( its not cause of the turkey and ribs thats why I originally gave it to him ) I mix the ground chuck 73 % lean 27% fat with 2 cups of Innova and an egg on top.... about three times a week. His muscle and strength has gone through the roof . he loves it.. he is solid and I mean solid... he has that cut behind the ribs... you cant see the ribs because of the muscle but my question is this.... is this mixture a good one or am I doing something wrong to him internally that I dont know about ? any help would be appreciated... we run daily for about a mile.
