I was so grossed out by the tick that I went to the Dr. to have it removed. She gave me a sauve to put on it to prevent staff. Said we have no cases of lymes in our area.
I thought I was having a reaction to the sauve. But it's suspected to be Lymes. However, we have what is called the Lonestar Tick here. It leaves a simular circular rash, but it could be caused by a different bacteria.
Either way, meds are the same. But with the Lonestar tick, the side effects aren't nearly as bad. As I don't have any of the side effects, I think that is the one I have.
