I've taken the next step down from Doxy for 30 days. It was horrible. Can't remember the name of it. Anyways, the SE really helped me, and make sure you take it with food.
Here's hoping your test comes back negative! Did they send it to a good lab? It took over a year for my BIL to be diagnosed because they kept sending it to a lab that wasn't very good. He almost died from it. So as horrible as the drugs are, the other alternative is even worse.
And wear sun screen or dark clothes even now. It doesn't take much to get a sunburn while on it.
