At least I'm on the right track with some of our updates! The windows are newer, so I think we're safe there. I purchased simple, off-white curtains from Ikea that I could easily leave up. There are the metal mini-blinds in all of the windows, but I think if I got them all cleaned they'd be alright? They help to block out the light that the curtains don't.
