There is no such thing as a German Shepard.

But if you are interested in a retired military dog that is a German Shepherd, you can do a google search and find the site. Some are up for adoption. I do think they evaluate the homes these dogs go to pretty carefully and look for experienced homes due to the training these dogs have.
