Every Sunday morning my husband makes waffles for breakfast. Waffles are Effie's most favorite food. She plunks her big head on his leg or arm and waits patiently until he eats his and then fixes one for her. This is the only time she bothers us during a meal. He gave her a pancake once and you could tell that she thought he was just crazy. Nothing better than a warm waffle and a little syrup on a cold morning.
