I'm not, but my mom and bf are.
Mom had her bottom lip ripped off by a gsd when she was 14, so was terrified of them. It took her until I got Kodak to be OK with them (she never got used to Cheeko or Kiba).
Matt was a bulldog person, and thought shepherds were mean. He now loves them (:
