So my fiance thinks me new little buddy Bentley looks like a sheep because he has a skinny little head/body and his ears aren't up. He is only 9 weeks old so I keep telling her he will grow into a handsome boy like his dad was. His mom was on the smaller side, but dad was about 90 lbs with a nice full head/body. Do you think my little buddy will fill out and raise those ears some day or am I going to have to defend him until he is old and gray?
He still looks really young! And he does not have a tiny head! Haha he's cute and I'm sure his ears will raise... I got Keira at 11 weeks and her ears didn't raise until a week or so after we brought her home. For a few days only one ear was raised...
Ummm 9 weeks old..... he's gonna look pretty gangly and funky for a while. He'll fill out around the time he's 2-3 years. Give the guy a break! Its hard growing into a handsome head turner! Gotta start somewhere! Enjoy the cute puppy stage.
Yeah that's what I told her. She is used to our 9 year old GSD who is a big beautiful girl and has never had a GSD as a puppy. I think he'll get those ears up and fill out someday so if she thinks he looks like a sheep until then I'll back him up haha.
Haha thats a good way to put it. I'll have to tell her that one She even has me thinking he looks a little bit like a sheep, but I'll cross my fingers that he grows up to be handsome boy and then we'll see what she says. Either way he's gonna be our buddy though!
Smelling some jealousy here. Somebody craving attention from you? Keep an eye on that. Tell her that some day she will be proud of him for defending her from some scare.
Yeah that's what I told her too! She knows how much I love my two GSD's so she has some competition. If she was as happy to see me as they were every day she wouldn't have anything to worry about lol.
Very handsome little guy, he is still a baby. Before you know it you will blink your eyes and he will be all grown up.
