My husband slept with Jake for the first few nights we brought him home.
Then we put his crate in our room so he was close to us. He settled down, but we were still up every 2 - 3 hours for potty breaks. She will get used to it. Good luck!
I thought we were never going to make it through that first month with Jake ... but now he's 11 months old and sleeping through the night with us upstairs at night in the hallway.
