I love my dog park, but it's a huge off leash area, not a small fenced in area.
The only thing I wouldn't do is make your dog sit - dogs sniff each other's bums to see who's who ... you're not letting the other dogs see who he is!!! And he has to be given the chance to sniff them too!
Now, I'm not suggesting you let 20 dogs come up to him at once ... that's major over load for your puppy, but one at a time for sure!
