I know we have had the discussion if a dog would protect its owner from danger, but how about the dog protecting itself if its cornered, getting abused, or attacked in any way? I'm not talking about the owner of the dog, but a stranger? What if your dog got away and some kids found it and started kicking it, would your dog attack or run the other way? I watched the video of the GSD that got on the soccer field and even though it wasn't getting attacked, there was a lot going on and the dog did well. How many of our dogs would react in a good way?
