I am very proud of my grandpa and I wish I could have met him. He died before I was born. He was captured by the Japanese and in the Bataan Death March (look it up on google for more facts). Here is a clip from the newsreel of when he came home. He was over 6" tall and weighed less than 100 pounds (They made them march over 10 miles a day and tortured and starved them)
