It literally BURNED her skin ... I treated it like you would a burn - polysporin, had to shave the whole area around the wound, put gauze over it for a couple of days, keep it clean, etc. Thankfully she couldn't lick it because it was on the back of her neck.
It took amout 4-6 weeks to heal completely and another two for the fur to start growing back
