I will NEVER stop giving my dogs heartwork preventaive, when i was a teen we lost our family palmeranians to heartworms. mys sister is a vet and i love my shepherds too much to just let them die like that, i would recommend that if you have ever been bitten by a mosquito that you live in an area were your dog can get heartworms.
