People don't pay to play in this field at all. The county has adult sports teams they sponsor to play there on weekends in the spring/summer only. People bring their dogs to these games as a matter of fact each weekend where they romp and play in field 2 on the lower end away from the sports field. Field 1 is my back yard and only about 100 yards or so of space- which yes is nice, but isn't near enough room when all the dogs are out. Our communities park is also in field one where people with small children are out constantly- it never fails from 50 yards away some mom says "can you guys leash your dogs"? My response no this is my property can you discontinue trespassing here? We live in a private neighborhood
Field 2 adjoins to field three which is flipping huge, with woods, hills, a cross country running track, and ample room for all the pups to play away from small children and nagging parents- something we cherish. The problem is I can not get to field 3 without cutting through field 2 because the fence's only opening is in the middle of field 2. Though to my surprise last night park police were out while I was cutting through with Zoe off leash. They said hello as usual, gave her a pet, and moved on- nothing about us not being allowed to play there,lol Maybe this won't be a problem after all? I'm still calling tomorrow to see what the point of this rule actually is since at yesterday's day game people attended as usual with their off leash doggies
