Aside from the Rescue forums here, where the "bump" fills the legitimate need of moving a topic back up so it doesn't end up being forgotten, you see "bump"ing threads a lot on forums where the more childish dwell, where "bumps" are commonly used when people feel their threads don't receive enough attention and feedback from others.
