My attitude is, your dog is being starved for attention and needs some serious and PROLONGED play time. Going for a walk sometimes is not enough. Dog parks are great for dogs to loose their built up energy. If you can't do that maybe playing with with a tennis ball. But this dog needs to run and run alot. Just playing tug a war is not enough, German Shepherds need lots of play time. Put it this way, your dog is 5 years old in human age, now how would a 5 year old act if you were to lock them in a cage ??? PS, your the boss make sure she knows she is hurting you and she won't do that anymore she is just dying for your time and affection. Remember praise her when she does good it really does help. You just have to spend more time with her.
