Welcome. I am relatively new here as well and don't take anything personally because...well...its a message board.
This site has the same basic dynamics as any other. There are a lot of "experts". My advice is to pick and choose what advice or tools you think will work for you, your personality, and your dog.
There is more than one right way to train a dog and there is great advice here.
