it looks better than grocery store brands(certainly better than the foods in the comparison chart they show at the bottom of the page). it does look pretty grain heavy. i like to see higher protein levels. a few of them are less than 23%. i dont think there can be much protein from actual meat in a food when the %'s are that low.
if one is on a really tight budget and that food is really cheap, it might be worth a look, but there are foods i think are better that are pretty cheap (TOTW or Canidae for grain free) or the food that Costco sells (i think it is called Signature??). |
I think the food from Costco you're thinking about is Kirkland. It's a decent quality food for the price. Same price as Purina, which is listed as a 1 star food on DogFoodAnalysis, and the Kirkland has 3 stars. Not the best, but definitely not the worst.
