We were successful with Invisible Fence and our VERY VERY driven Dal...she got out of everything! It worked with her, and she'd occasionally test it.

Anna's discovered she can jump our fence so we're using it with her now, successfully as well. I think it all comes down to the training. Plus, with the Invs. Fence, you can set up the "zap zone" to up to 12-15 feet I think, if not more. That's a lot of shock to get through.

But again, I think it comes down to training about the perimeter which takes a few days or a week, depending on the dog.

ETA: We only use it with the exisiting fence, I'd never leave my dog with just the Inv. Fence and nothing else, like a front yard for example.
